Betty Willmann
Betty L. Willmann, 75, 05541 Glynwood Road, St. Marys, died at 1:19 p.m. April 16, 2007, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.
She was born March 11, 1932, in Celina, to Harry and Wilhelmina Schmehl Rockwood. On Oct. 7, 1950, she married William E. Willmann, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William (Vicki), West Carrollton; a daughter, Christina (Paul) White, New Bremen; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Paul and Carl Rockwood; and a granddaughter.
She retired as custodian at Zion Lutheran Church after 25 years and worked at the former Woolen Mills, both of St. Marys. She was a member of the Zion church, its Women of ELCA and Dorcas Society Quilters, and was chairperson of its mission action committee. She also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Post 767, American Legion Auxiliary Post 323 and Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary, all of St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
