Harold Steinbrunner
Fort Recovery native Harold F. Steinbrunner, 73, of Marion, Ind., died at 6:25 a.m. Aug. 27, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 9, 1933, in Fort Recovery, to Alloys and Elizabeth Brockman Steinbrunner. On April 12, 1958, he married Eileen Dorsten, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Nick, Connersville, Ind., Doug (Laurie) and Joe (Janine), all of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Cindy (Steve) Jefferson, Connersville; a brother, Albert (Teresa), Fort Recovery; two sisters, Helen (Orval) Schwieterman and Delores Abels, all of Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Juanita, Fort Recovery; a brother-in-law, Mark Schwieterman, Maria Stein; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Carl; a sister, Rosemary Schwieterman; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Abels.
He retired from the Dana Corporation after 27 years of service. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a former member of Dunkirk Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge. He also was a member of Arbor Trace Golf Club and St. Paul Catholic Church, both of Marion.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial is at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Needham-Storey-Wampner, North Chapel, Marion, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.
