Ross Brackman, a student at Grace Land Preschool in Celina, blows bubbles from a window on the school's new playground equipment on Tuesday. Brackman and his classmates held the activity on their first day of school in honor of Clifford the Big Red Dog, who turns 45 today. The children also were celebrating their new playground, which was built by funds raised this summer by vacation Bible school students ($1,800) and a $200 donation by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Celina.
