Joan Overman
Joan C. Overman age 85, of Maria Stein, Ohio died at 1:00 AM on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Celina Manor.
She was born August 1, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph & Katherine (Hasebrook) Gast. She married Louis Overman on October 12, 1957 and he survives in Maria Stein.
She is also survived by three daughters, Tina Jobes, Baltimore, MD, Amy & Neale Frysinger, Maria Stein, Jennifer & Kim Kremer, Coldwater, 8 grandchildren, brother Tom & Elizabeth Gast, Florida, in-laws Dorothy Gerlach, St. Henry, Marilyn & Bill Braun, Columbus, Alma Overman, Dayton.
She was preceded in death by daughter Kay, sister Martha & Donald Rindler, in-laws, Jean Gast, Viola & Norbert Dippold, Alvina & Ben Hemmelgarn, Richard & Alma Overman, Othmar & Joan Overman, Linus "Jim" Overman & Cyril & Betty Overman.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Minster on Thursday, May 19, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
