Eileen A. Delzeith, age 87, of St. Henry, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.

She was born on July 24, 1935 at home, to the late Stephen & Agnes (Fiely) Evers. On April 28, 1969 she married Cyril "George" Delzeith, and he died on May 8, 2013.

A native of St. Wendelin, she lived her entire married life in St. Henry.

Survivors include a sister Joan Wenning of New Bremen, a brother Paul Evers of St. Marys, and a sister-in-law Mary Evers of St. Wendelin. Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, some of whom she was very fond, and her care givers, Nick & Mary Jo Delzeith.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eileen is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws: Norma & Paul Wenning, Melvin Evers, Gene & Ann Evers, Rogene Evers, and Ernest Wenning.

After graduating from Ft. Recovery High School in 1953, she attended St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Dayton and became a licensed practical nurse. Eileen worked in the nursing profession for 50 years before retiring. She was a former member of the Licensed Practical Nursing Association of Ohio, and the Ladies Sodality at St. Henry Church. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, embroidering, quilting, working puzzle books, and making rosaries. She made thousands of rosaries and sent them to various missions around the world.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Saturday, March 4, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 3, and 9:00 to 10:00 am Saturday, March 4, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
