A. Carol Schroeder, 90, of St. Marys, OH died 1:56 p.m. Sunday November 17, 2024 at Otterbein - St. Marys.

She was born July 17, 1934 in Salem Twp. - Auglaize Co., OH to Ralph Virgil and Pearl Leota (Worthington) Bruner. On September 4, 1954 she married John Russell Schroeder, who died August 13, 2013.

Survivors include: son Russell Schroeder of St. Marys, OH; daughter Sue Smith of Celina, OH; grandchildren: Philip Rigano, Jr.; Jacob Schroeder; Joshua Schroeder; great-grandchildren: Gage Mullins, Brooklyn Johnson, Nathan Rigano; and sister Betty Jane Hall of St. Marys, OH.

Preceded in death by: parents John and Pearl Bruner; husband John Schroeder; granddaughter Andrea Arnold; and brother Dwight Bruner.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1953). Carol was a retired support staff employee from the JTDM Hospital in St. Marys. She was a member of Community in Christ Church in Lima, OH, where she served as pianist for many years. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting and reading.

Graveside funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday November 22, 2024 at the Kossuth Cemetery in Kossuth, OH. Elder James Winger will officiate the services.
