Beverly J. Ahrens, 78, Celina, died at 10:40 p.m. June 11, 2012, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.

She was born April 18, 1934, in Detroit, Mich., to Charles and Mayoma Painter Cantwil. In 1972, she married Floyd Ahrens, who died May 28, 2006.

Surviving are sons, Gene (Vickie) Pool, Van Wert, Steven Pool, Fostoria, Daniel Pool, Celina, Timothy Ahrens, Celina, and Mark H. (Dee) Jackson, Celina; a brother, Charles (Ruth) Cantwil, Caseville, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a son, Michael Pool.

She graduated in 1952 from St. Clair Shores High School, Detroit, and retired in 1984 from Allison Crank Shaft, Fostoria.

Private family services will be held at the family's convenience. Burial is at Memory Gardens in Fostoria Cemetery.
